Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Cloud Approver, including the website, live demo, account console, cloud review workflows, recommendations, inventory, approvals, workloads, reports, support requests, and subscription services.
Subscription renewal and authorization
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, whether monthly or annually, unless canceled before renewal. By purchasing a paid subscription, the customer authorizes Stripe to charge the saved payment method on a recurring basis until the subscription is canceled.
Rollout or free-use periods may be offered for limited periods. If a paid subscription begins after a free-use period, the subscription terms shown during checkout or account setup apply.
Cancellation
Customers may cancel a paid subscription by using the cancellation workflow in the user dashboard or another cancellation method provided by Cloud Approver. Cancellation should be completed at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next recurring charge.
Unless Cloud Approver states otherwise in writing, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle. The customer may continue using the service through the end of that paid period.
Refunds and failed payments
Subscription fees are non-refundable. Cloud Approver does not issue partial or prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
If Stripe cannot complete a recurring charge, Cloud Approver may suspend, restrict, downgrade, or terminate access to the service until payment is resolved.
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for maintaining account security, controlling who has access to their customer account, providing accurate billing and contact information, and using Cloud Approver only for accounts and environments they are authorized to review.
Customers should not submit secrets, passwords, private keys, regulated health information, or other highly sensitive information through support notes, invite requests, workload descriptions, or assistance requests unless Cloud Approver has expressly agreed to handle that information.
Cloud review limitations
Cloud Approver provides review, monitoring, recommendation, approval, and reporting workflows based on available scanner evidence. Cloud Approver does not guarantee that every risk, cost issue, misconfiguration, or compliance concern will be detected.
Recommendations are informational and operational decision support. Customers remain responsible for decisions made in their cloud accounts and for validating changes before applying them.
Governing law and venue
These Terms, access to Cloud Approver, and billing disputes are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any formal legal action must be filed exclusively in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia or the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLOUD APPROVER'S TOTAL MONETARY LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, PLATFORM ACCESS, RECOMMENDATIONS, BILLING, OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER TO CLOUD APPROVER DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTH PERIOD IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Changes
Cloud Approver may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated Terms are posted or provided means the customer accepts the updated Terms.
